OUR HISTORY
On November 3, 2018, a vote to establish a Grand Chapter was held following the formation of the M.W. Canaan Grand Lodge. Together, the three subordinate Chapters of Silver Star Chapter No. 1, Ladies of Grace Chapter No. 2, and Queens of the Nile Chapter No. 3 constituted the Makeda Grand Chapter, whose first elected Grand Worthy Matron was Tracey TR Staton. The other elected officers were Grand Associate Matron JoAnn Staton Beck, Grand Treasurer Cheryl Ashley, Grand Secretary Melonie Moon, Grand Conductress Tiffani Stewart, Grand Associate Conductress Melanie Holder, and Grand Warder Deborah Rogers.
On August 7, 2021, a dispensation was issued to a 4th subordinate Chapter named Hadassah Chapter No. 4 under the leadership of Lisa Malone.
